Production Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.
We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day. If you are up to it, we’d like to talk to you.
The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.


Responsibilities
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
  • Monitor production to resolve issues
  • Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
  • Determine number of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
  • Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
  • Ensure output meets quality standards
  • Enforce health and safety precautions
  • Report to upper management 
  • Review current inventory levels for all raw material and sub assembly parts.
  • Review department jigs/tools to determine any additional processes that can be used to reduce production time. Or increase daily output.
  • Ensure all staff maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Train all new staff on Company policies and practices.

Requirements and skills
  • Proficiency in using production management software and tools. – ( SAP, SPIRE)
  • Knowledge of quality control practices and process improvement methodologies.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Must Be able to read CAD Drawings.
  • Experience in implementing and driving Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting. Must have experience driving plant-wide projects and safety initiatives.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a production supervisor or Bachelor’s degree
