PRODUCTION PLANNER & SAP SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT (SME) – Amico Corporation
Richmond Hill, ON
- Main Function as SAP SME
- Assist Planners, Schedulers and Production Team in dealing with SAP Issues
- Ensure the proper execution of SAP Processes
- Ensure that SAP reports are delivered/created
- Maintain the SAP Issue Log
- Develop and Maintain SAP Reports for Planning and Scheduling
- COGI Errors
- ZCBS Inventory
- Cycle Counting Status
- Production Overdue Reports
- Job Responsibilities as Production Planner
- Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing and Quality to attain production goals.
- Understand the plan for materials and services within the business area to develop a supply plan to achieve targeted dates.
- Support project scheduling activities including delivery date management to identify material and service opportunities and resolve any scheduling issues.
- Review and interpret BOM construction & analyze changing material demand patterns.
- Resolves material issues and notifies affected stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date database of materials purchased and planned.
- Ensure that the material master is accurate and perform audits of it as appropriate.
- Review Material Usage and Safety Level with the team on a monthly basis and suggest modifications consistent with knowledge of current or historical demand.
- Supports continuous improvement activities and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Ownership of sustaining and improving current processes and systems in accordance with long-term objectives.
- Develop and maintain Reports for the Team
- Continuous Improvement Projects:
- Develop and maintain SAP Reports
- Improve the accuracy and usage of Phantom BOMs
- Review the Existing SAP Processes & Documents and work on the necessary Improvements
- Develop the SAP Product Labels and Shipping Labels
- Develop the SAP Scheduling Module to work with the current business requirements.
- Measure of Success:
- SAP Improvement Projects are maintained and accomplished
- SAP Issues are tracked, addressed and long-term solutions provided
- Required Reports are Maintained and Updated.
- Project BOMs are updated as per schedule
- Phantom BOMs are checked and updated.
- Inventory Safety Levels are evaluated and updated regularly based on the changing demands of the environment.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
