3D Modeling Technician

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop 3D models using Onshape software based on project requirements.
- Special knowledge for ONSHAPE configurations and constraints are required,
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and project managers.
- Convert concepts, sketches, and technical drawings into fully detailed 450 LOD 3D models.
- Ensure models meet quality standards, technical specifications, and project deadlines.
- Work side by side with the library development team and providing 3d models.
- Create rules and controlling methods for the data management part of ONSHAPE
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, including creating assemblies, simulations, and BOMs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design challenges effectively.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Onshape 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and CAD modeling.
- Strong understanding of BOMs.
- Experience in creating detailed assemblies, parts, and technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret and execute project briefs, sketches, and technical requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Onshape software knowledge and experience is a must, all resumes without onshape will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in [specific industry, e.g., consumer products,automotive].
- Knowledge of additional CAD tools or software is a plus.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
- Any certification is a plus
